Azeroth Survivors on Mobile, iPad, and Steam Deck
The official client has a touch path. It is not a separate app store build. A phone browser with a coarse pointer gets on-screen controls, a fullscreen attempt, and a landscape lock where the browser allows it. iOS Safari has neither element fullscreen nor a reliable landscape lock, and the boot script no-ops a missing webkit fullscreen call so the wasm can still start.
| Device | What to expect |
|---|---|
| Android Chrome | Touch controls. The boot script skips the heavy shader warm pass and can use a lighter material, because some Adreno compilers crashed the GPU process. |
| iPhone and iPad | All browsers are WebKit. You still need WebGPU. Fullscreen is not the desktop gesture. Hold the device in landscape yourself. |
| Steam Deck | Not named as a target. Try the desktop site in a WebGPU browser. If the adapter is missing, read the WebGPU page. Do not download a Deck “port” from a third party. |
| Controller | The client exposes gamepad options, including stick dead zone and camera invert, in the published control notes. |
If the phone shows a black canvas, start with WebGPU and then the crash log. The Windows archive does not install on a phone.
