Azeroth Survivors Hunter Build
Hunter is the third beginner pick and an A on the score board. Pets cover the mistake of standing still for a second, which is why it is the ranged class we suggest before Mage. The quoted capstone line is the English string from client 0.112.5. The plan under it is a community reading, not a counted sample of our own runs. Open the gear page and the planner when the capstone is chosen.
A tier · beginner #3 · clear score #5 (122.8)

Hit points are not printed. Older posts disagree, including Paladin figures of 245 and 160, and this desk will not pick one.

Kill Shot
Capstone. You start every run with Aimed Shot; its cooldown is {v}% shorter and a killing blow readies it again, at most every 2 sec.
Quoted from the 0.112.5 English string table. A “v” in curly braces is the client’s placeholder. This page does not fill it in. The notes below are still community.
The crit chain. Dense packs reset the big shot.
- Cards: Aimed Shot, crit, damage.
- Talent order: Free Aimed Shot milestone, then the capstone, then crit.
- Gear and jewelry: Crit and crit damage. A legendary weapon’s extra target helps the chain.
- Zones: Zones with thick packs, especially once you already know the boss clock.
Bestial Wrath
Capstone. A raptor joins your wolf, and your pets' bites tear through 2 more enemies nearby for {v}% of the bite.
Quoted from the 0.112.5 English string table. A “v” in curly braces is the client’s placeholder. This page does not fill it in. The notes below are still community.
The safest Hunter route. Pets stand between you and the pack.
- Cards: Pet damage, Multi-Shot, the wolf milestone.
- Talent order: Wolf milestone before the capstone so the raptor is not your only body.
- Gear and jewelry: Pet damage and a little health. You still get hit when a pet dies.
- Zones: First clears, and any zone where you keep getting surrounded.
Wyvern Sting
Capstone. You start every run with Frost Trap, and an Explosive Trap sets itself at your feet every 5 sec.
Quoted from the 0.112.5 English string table. A “v” in curly braces is the client’s placeholder. This page does not fill it in. The notes below are still community.
A trap lane. You kite through your own ground.
- Cards: Frost Trap, Explosive Trap, area.
- Talent order: Trap cards over a third shot.
- Gear and jewelry: Area and slow-related damage.
- Zones: Open zones. Gurubashi’s tighter floor makes the lane harder.
Milestones worth the points
- Every few shots is followed by a free Aimed Shot.
- Auto Shot pierces a second enemy.
- Kills with Auto Shot or Multi-Shot explode.
- A wolf fights beside you and can fire a free Multi-Shot.
Spell book
Per-rank damage is not a single number in the 0.112.5 tooltips we read. Many of them still say “v” in curly braces. The table is the spell’s job, plus the icon when the client record names one. Rank the spell your capstone names, and leave the others.

Card priority
- Early: A movement or trap card, plus one shot you will actually rank up.
- Mid: Wolf if you are dying, Aimed Shot resets if you are not.
- Before the boss: Cheetah is 14 seconds. Use it to leave the enrage circle, not to cross the map early.
Bosses and mistakes
Pets do not replace a boss pattern. Keep distance when the final boss drops under 30% health.
Taking every trap and every shot. Kill Shot and Bestial Wrath want different cards. Do not plant your feet to finish a cast. The kit assumes you are moving.
