Azeroth Survivors Lag and Low FPS
Azeroth Survivors lag, once the game is actually running, is usually effects, zoom, or another tab on the same GPU. It is a different problem from a black screen or a full server. Fix the frame rate after you know the client started.
- Press G to turn screen enhancements off, then confirm the binding in Options if nothing changes.
- Zoom the camera out with the mouse wheel so the client draws less of the horde at full detail.
- Pause or close background tabs, especially video.
- On a laptop, force the browser onto the dedicated GPU using the same Graphics setting as the WebGPU page.
- If the browser build stays rough, switch to the official Windows build. See download.
If the canvas never appears, start at not loading or status.
Is G the effects key?
Our control list includes G for screen enhancements. The public boot script we read does not document that key. If G does nothing, use the in-game options. Do not install a “FPS config” from a random site.
Will another tab cause hitching?
A browser shares one GPU process. Video and other WebGPU tabs compete with the client. Close them before you blame the build.
